Denver Fertility Albrecht Women’s Care is a small intimate office with a two physicians Dr. Bruce Albrecht and Dr. Dana Ambler. The AWC Team will only see a select amount of patients per month, thus creating a family-like environment and highly personalized care.

In addition, Dr. Bruce Albrecht and Dr. Dana Ambler are physician's first who want people to achieve the dream of becoming parents, not a business who is only in the business of IVF.  Dr. Albrecht and Dr. Ambler's first responsibility is to find the least evasive fertility treatment possible to achieve success.

Why can’t I start IVF immediately?

IVF is a precise process that requires proper evaluation and preparation that is generally based on a menstrual cycle time frame. It is extremely important to have proper testing and timing for the highest chance to achieve a positive outcome.

What is your pricing?

The IVF staff or billing office is happy to personally give you generalized pricing information. Once IVF staff receives your customized treatment plan they will help give you a more a precise fee schedule based on your individual needs. We are an affordable, personalized, high-quality fertility care choice.

Do you see patients on weekends?

We have office hours by appointment only, but if you experience a surge, our staff is on call to accommodate you at all times for IVF and cycle monitoring.

What are the causes of infertility?

Abnormal levels in hormones can greatly affect your ability to conceive. These hormones include the follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), Estradiol, Luteinizing hormone (LH), Prolactin, Progesterone, Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) and androgen hormones.

What is ART-ASSISTED REPRODUCTIVE TECHNOLOGY?

ART is exactly what the name implies, assisted technology in reproduction. The most common technology used is IVF-in-vitro fertilization. This technology enables a couple to increase their chances of conceiving when other methods have not worked.

What are the differences between IUI and IVF?

Intrauterine inseminations are typically done in the physician’s office. This process involves using a slender catheter tube and places sperm directly into the uterus when ovulating. IVF is a method of reproduction more complex than an IUI. This involves growing and surgically harvesting women’s eggs from the ovaries and combining them with sperm outside of the uterus. Then once fertilization has occurred the embryo is placed into a women’s uterus for incubation.

Does lifestyle have an affect on reproduction?

Being happy and healthy can have a huge affect on being able to conceive. A healthy diet and moderate exercise can increase chances of conceiving. Smoking, drinking and recreational drugs can inhibit your chances of reproducing.

How does emotional stress affect infertility?

The emotional stress of infertility can play havoc on a relationship no matter what the circumstances behind the infertility are. Couples dealing with infertility will face many challenges and learning how to cope with these obstacles will help reduce the stress, increase your odds of conceiving and improve your overall relationship with one another. How does acupuncture increase odds of conceiving?

Acupuncture has been researched and found to be quite helpful in conceiving when combined with the technologies in assisted reproduction. There have been studies done which have shown a dramatic increase in conceiving when combined with ART then doing only ART alone.

What is donor egg and donor sperm?
