Why Choose Denver Fertility?
1) More Freedom in Your Fertility Treatment Decisions.
Dr. Albrecht has been performing Assisted Reproductive Technology since 1980, a true physician pioneer in Colorado. During this time, he has successfully overseen thousands of IVF cycles.
Dr. Ambler’s list of academic accomplishments is extensive. She has worked with some of the best reproductive physicians in the country and brings with her a wealth of knowledge. Her ability to relate to patients is one of her strengths. She is highly skilled in the latest fertility techniques and third-party reproduction.
Our approach allows you to have the supported autonomy you need to make your own decisions, while also offering you customizable care options to fit your unique situation.
At Denver Fertility, we expect you to participate in your fertility care. Remember that you are in control of your fertility care.
2) We Provide Alternative Paths to Fertility Treatment – Not Just In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).
We believe in all avenues of infertility care, not just advanced procedures like IVF. In fact, unlike most reproductive health practitioners, we understand the pathway to pregnancy cannot be taken with a “one size fits all” approach. We aim to provide less invasive and less expensive fertility treatments first. At Denver Fertility, we pride ourselves on finding the root cause of infertility with the most affordable and least invasive method possible. Our center provides an intimate atmosphere, and patient care is the most important part to ensuring success.
Often, infertility can be directly related to factors like nutritional habits, lifestyle behaviors and even your mental well-being. Sometimes, a simple adjustment in these factors can be your path to a healthy and successful pregnancy.
Treatment for ovulation and hormonal problems and intrauterine inseminations are other less expensive and less invasive treatments that we commonly use.
Denver Fertility will offer its cutting-edge IVF option if appropriate, and when other proven fertility treatment methods have been exhausted.
3) Proven Pregnancy Success.
The number of families we help to build each year continues to grow exponentially. We are proud that our pregnancy success rates remain well above the national average; giving reason to why so many individuals and couples throughout our region visit us for fertility support. Our team remains dedicated to pursuing excellence for those taking on the most challenging infertility issues.
4) Cost-Friendly Fertility Care – High Quality, Personalized and Compassionate.
We have discovered that countless people forgo the benefits of infertility treatment simply because the cost may be too high. We recognize this problematic truth and choose not to accept it for our patients.
We deliver a personalized compassionate approach to your fertility care while also keeping down costs throughout your fertility journey.
How? By starting with non-invasive treatments first. Utilizing Denver Fertility’s wellness care program can deliver a more efficient and cost-friendlier care experience. Coupling this with less expensive fertility treatment options such as ovulation induction and intrauterine inseminations can also keep the expenses lower. We pride ourselves on making IVF much more affordable than our Colorado competitors.

7 ) Highly Experienced Embryologists.
Led by our High-Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director, Dr. Michael Baker, Denver Fertility’s embryology team strives to provide the best embryology services in the nation through a focus on compassionate patient interaction and a never-ending quality improvement program. Each embryologist is held to the highest published standards for laboratory performance.
Dr. Baker’s commitment to patient education is experienced through the in depth IVF Orientation Webinars as well as multiple one-on-one conversations scheduled with you when you go through the IVF process.
From start to finish, our laboratory team is committed to improving every measure of performance to optimize your chances for success.
8) State-of-the-Art Embryology Laboratory.
The Denver Fertility laboratory was built in the fall of 2018 and is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Our participation in this voluntary accreditation program assures our patients that we are not satisfied by simply meeting the minimum standards set by federal law. JCAHO accreditation requires regular inspection of our facilities and procedures to demonstrate compliance in over 600 performance standards. All hospital laboratories are required to go through JCAHO accreditation. We choose to hold ourselves to those same high standards.
To meet those high standards, the Denver Fertility laboratory was designed from the ground up with the best of today’s technology, providing the optimal environment to care for your embryos.
From the incubators to the cryostorage dewars, all equipment was carefully selected to provide multiple levels of redundancy for embryo safety. Uninterruptable power supplies and an emergency generator ensure undisrupted laboratory operation. Furthermore, the laboratory monitoring system will immediately alert staff of established concerns providing peace of mind to patients each and every day of the year.
Our best-in-class LifeAire IVF Air Purification System was put in place to protect your embryos from the harmful effects of pollutants, such as airborne microbes (e.g. viruses, fungal spores) and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). VOCs, known to inhibit embryo development, have many sources including construction sites, city traffic emissions, and forest fires (all too common in Colorado!). Denver Fertility is the only LifeAire Center of Excellence within 800 miles.
Additionally, the RI Witness data tracking system is another great example of the supreme importance that Denver Fertility places on ensuring patient safety. In addition to double witnessing of key processing, the RI Witness system tracks RFID tags on all specimen containers. Starting with sperm and egg collection, all the way through culture, cryopreservation, and finally the embryo transfer… You can rest assured of the genetic identity of your embryos. If ever a mismatch of containers occurs, audible and visual cues immediately alert the staff that unrelated containers have entered a workstation and the incident is thereby prevented. Electronic witnessing systems such as this are not mandated by the FDA or any other regulatory body, but Denver Fertility strives to be ahead of the curve. Around the world, mistakes with patients’ embryos are now being discovered at an alarming rate.
